About the Journal

Aim

The National Journal of Speech and Audio Signal Processing aims to provide a high-quality scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research and review articles in the field of speech and audio signal processing. The journal seeks to promote advances in digital signal processing theories, algorithms, and practical implementations that address real-world challenges in speech and audio analysis, enhancement, recognition, and communication systems.

Scope

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Speech signal analysis, modeling, enhancement, recognition, and synthesis

  • Audio signal processing, including music, acoustic, and spatial audio analysis

  • Digital signal processing techniques such as filtering, spectral and time–frequency analysis

  • Speech and audio coding, compression, and quality assessment

  • Machine learning and deep learning approaches for speech and audio signals

  • Real-time, embedded, and low-power speech and audio processing systems

  • Applications in healthcare, human–computer interaction, multimedia, and IoT

NJSAP encourages the submission of original research articles, review papers, and case studies that advance the understanding and capabilities of speech and audio processing systems. Interdisciplinary contributions that bridge speech/audio processing with fields such as machine learning, cognitive computing, and human-computer interaction are also highly welcomed.
